James Pettit, owner of West Texas Bridal Showcase presents Legend Jewelers diamond ring to future bride, Kimberly Bradford. Bradford and fiancée, Jacob Fallin’s wedding date is set for March 11, 2022. SAN ANGELO – There was a different way of doing things at this year’s 30th annual West Texas “Post COVID” Bridal Showcase, 2021.WTBS owner, James Pettit had to continually “adapt, adapt, adapt” to challenges presented before him prior to Sunday’s February 28th kick-off 1 p.m.

Pettit told Conexión that approximately 50 vendors turned out compared to previous years due to the still lingering COVID. Yet, Pettit found a way to make it work out successfully in the end.

Also, another approach was when six brides were presented with a different way of competing for the Legend Jewelers diamond ring, valued at $2,500. Instead of a large, tier-layered cake to dig out a diamond-like-shaped fake ring, the contestants were given their own min-cake.

Which made it that much easier as 2022 future bride, Kimberly Bradford shattered the record of digging out the “fake” ring in seven seconds!
