San Angelo Texas – El fundador de Conexión Hispana Internacional el señor Gregorio M. Gutiérrez, de 66 años, falleció el domingo 13 de diciembre de 2020, Gregorio nació el 17 de noviembre de 1954 su padre Juan Gutiérrez y Antonia Gutiérrez de San Luis Potosí, México. Gregorio llegó a los Estados Unidos en 1986 y se mudó a San Angelo. Comenzó su carrera como DJ en KSJT, una estación de radio en español. Comenzó a Triangle Production cual dio el comienzo a que Conexion Hispana Internacional en el 2002 y Conexion Del Rio en 2008. Se casó con Araceli Lara el 2 de junio de 1990, ambos tenían la pasión de comenzar un periódico en español para promover y unir dos culturas para educar a una nueva generación. Araceli quiere agradecer a la comunidad de lectores, patrocinadores y empresas que ayudaron a apoyar y hacer crecer su pasión. Su objetivo era educar a los jóvenes para que fueran los líderes del mañana. Gregorio enfatizó la importancia de dos idiomas.
A Gregorio le encantaba hablar sobre la palabra de dios . Gregorio era miembro de Southgate Church of Christ. Su hogar ha sido y será siempre San Angelo.
Gregorio fue muy amigable y visionario para la comunidad. Gregorio amaba a su familia, esposa, hijos, nietos.
Al Sr. Gutiérrez le sobreviven su esposa durante 30 años Araceli Gutiérrez; seis hijos Allan Gutierrez y esposa Gabriela, Ricardo Gutierrez y esposa Michelle, Saul Gutierrez y esposa Norma, Juan Gutierrez y esposa Silvia , Laura Ibarra y su esposo José y Rodrigo Gutiérrez; 17 nietos y 2 bisnietos.
Se llevará a cabo una visita en Harper Funeral Home de 6:00 a 8:00 p.m. el miércoles 16 de diciembre de 2020. Se llevará a cabo un funeral en Southgate Church of Christ a las 11:00 am el jueves 17 de diciembre y seguirá el entierro en el cementerio Fairmount.

The Founder loses battle over COVID -19
San Angelo Texas - The founder of International Hispanic Connection Mr. Gregorio M. Gutiérrez, 66, passed away on Sunday 13, 2020.Gregorio was born on November 17, 1954 to Juan Gutierrez and Antonia Gutierrez in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Gregorio came to the United States in 1986 and moved to San Angelo. He started his career as a DJ at KSJT a Spanish Radio Station. He started Triangle productions which gave birth to Conexion Hispana International in 2002 and Conexion Del Rio in 2008. He married Araceli Lara in June 2, 1990 they both had a passion to start a Spanish Newspaper to promote and unite two cultures to educate a new generation. Araceli would like to thank the community of readers, sponsors, and businesses that helped support and grow his passion. His goal was to educate young people to be the leaders of tomorrow. Gregorio emphasized the importance of two languages.
Gregorio loved to spread the Gospel. Gregorio was a member of Southgate Church of Christ. His home has and always will be San Angelo. Gregorio was very friendly and visionary for the community. Gregorio loved his family wife, kids, grandkids.
Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife of 30 years Araceli Gutierrez; six children Allan Gutierrez and wife Gabriela, Ricardo Gutierrez and wife Michelle, Saul Gutierrez and wife Norma, Juan Gutierrez and wife Silvia, Laura Ibarra and husband Jose, and Rodrigo Gutierrez; 17 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Harper Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2020. A funeral service will be held at Southgate Church of Christ at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 17 with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
