Mrs. Robin Hayes, State Republican Executive Committeewoman for SD 28 spoke to the San Angelo Republican Women on Monday, January 11, 2021. The monthly meeting was held at the VFW Post 1815 located at 125 S. Browning St.
SAN ANGELO – Robin Hayes is the State Republican Executive Committeewoman for Senate District 28. San Angelo Republican Women President, Kellye Duncan introduced her though as “being one of them.” Meaning, Mrs. Hayes got her start at the grass roots level, going door-to-door knocking, canvassing votes, etc.
Hayes was in town Monday, January 11, 2021 to bring a message of encouragement to the SARW.
She told Conexión that too much negativity came out of the 2020 General Election with many Republicans contemplating even pulling away from the party. Robin, a strong believer in Jesus Christ believes that God should be incorporated into politics. “We need to keep our focus on the Lord, and all things will be good.”
Hayes concluded that the party needed to come together and do things better. For example, “do block walking in your area, contact your state Republican executive committee members, get involved in the political process by making trips to Austin. Make our voices heard as a larger group, not just through voting” concluded Hayes.
