¿Qué dice la Biblia?

En muchos pasajes, el apóstol Pablo nos muestra qué es el evangelio. Hoy nos muestra cómo compartirlo con los demás. ¿Qué dice la Biblia?

“Sino que, hablando la verdad en amor, crezcamos en todos los aspectos en aquel que es la cabeza, es decir, en Cristo, de quien todo el cuerpo, bien concertado y unido por todas las coyunturas que se nutren, según la actividad propia de cada miembro, recibe su crecimiento y se edifica en amor.” – Efesios 4:15-16

De esta escritura aprendemos:

1. Decimos la verdad. Nada de opinión pública, ni nuestra opinión. La verdad, la palabra de Dios.

2. Decimos la verdad en amor. Si no amamos a los demás, no deberíamos hablar.

3. Nos preparamos acercándonos continuamente a Jesús y sometiéndonos personalmente a él.

4. Cristo es la cabeza de la iglesia y la fuente de su unidad y poder.

5. Cuando somos uno con Cristo y con los demás, estamos sanos y creciendo. Esto significa que nuestra luz brillará cada vez más en este mundo oscuro.

6. En otro pasaje, 1 Corintios 13, Pablo nos dice que sin amor nada de lo que hacemos cuenta.

What Does the Bible Say?

In many places the Apostle Paul shows us what the gospel is. Today he shows us how to share it with others. What does the Bible say?

“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every joint with which it is supplied, when each part is working properly, makes bodily growth and upbuilds itself in love.” – Ephesians 4:15-16

From this scripture we learn:

1. We speak the truth. No public opinion, not our opinion. The truth, God’s word.

2. We speak truth in love. If we don’t love others we should not talk.

3. We prepare ourselves by continually darwing closer to Jesus and submitting personally to him.

4. Christ is the head of the church and the source of its unity and power.

5. When we are one with Christ and one with each other we are healthy and growing. This means our light will shine brighter and brighter in this dark world.

6. In another place, 1 Corinthians 13, Paul tells us without love nothing else that we do counts.
