¿Qué dice la Biblia?

Lo último que aprendimos es que la iglesia no es un edificio. La iglesia puede adorar en un edificio, pero la iglesia no es un edificio. Entonces, ¿qué es la iglesia? Algunos podrían decir que es una organización que las personas buenas comenzaron para honrar a Dios. Pero, ¿qué dice la Biblia? Colosenses 1:18

“Él es la cabeza del cuerpo que es la iglesia; él es el principio, el primogénito de entre los muertos, para que en todo tenga la preeminencia”.

De esta escritura aprendemos:

1. La iglesia es un cuerpo.

2. La iglesia es el cuerpo de Cristo.

3. La iglesia es el cuerpo de Cristo y Jesucristo es la cabeza.

4. Jesús existía antes de que existiera la iglesia.

5. Su regreso de entre los muertos prueba que él es Dios.

6. Eso significa que es preeminente.

7. Esto debería significar que no discutamos con Jesús.

8. Jesús hace todas las reglas. Si tan solo pudiéramos recordar este glorioso hecho: Jesús es la cabeza, no yo, no tú. Jesús. Todos nuestros argumentos desaparecerían. Si no tienes una Biblia pero la necesitas, háznoslo saber y te ayudaremos.

What Does the Bible Say?

Last we learned that the church is not a building. The church may worship in a building the church is not a building. So what is the church? Some might say it is an organization that good people started to honor God. But what does the Bible say?

Colossians 1:18 “He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-bron from the dead, that in everything he might be pre-eminent.”

From this scripture we learn:

1.      The church is a body.

2.      The church is the body of Christ.

3.      The church is the body of Christ and Jesus Christ is the head.

4.      Jesus existed before the church existed.

5.      His return from the dead proves he is God.

6.      The means he is pre-eminent.

7.      This should mean we don’t argue with Jesus.

8.      Jesus makes all the rules.

If we could only remember this one glorious fact, Jesus is the head – not me, not you. Jesus. All of our arguments would vanish.
