Sánchez, ADACCV CEO Honored on 20 Years

ADACCV CEO, Eric Sánchez was honored by his staff with a Texas plaque that read. “20 years of untiring service, dedication, and strong leadership.” A 10:15 a.m. program was held in his honor on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Journey Recovery Center, 3600 Journey Drive.


SAN ANGELO – At ADACCV CEO, Eric Sánchez’ 20th year anniversary celebration, Program Development Director/Public Information Officer and master of ceremonies Paulette Schell, roasted her boss with her unique sense of humor. “I’m going to talk about the things that makes him special.” “And the other things that don’t quite make him special!” You could hear Eric laughing louder than all those in attendance which included his family, staff, and friends. The celebration took place on Friday April 16th, 10:15 a.m. at the Journey Recovery Center, 3600 Journey Drive.

“One of the greatest testimonies to Eric’s success is the facility we are in today” said his best friend, Mr. David Bailey. Since Sánchez became the CEO of ADACCV in 2001, 9,000 people have been served by the nonprofit organization.

Others who came to honor him included: ADACCV Board President, Dr. Gary Jenkins, Laura Lewis, District Director for Senator, Charles Perry, Cheryl DeCordova, District Director for Rep. Drew Darby, Daniel Barrientos, Mayor Brenda Gunter, and Tom Green County Judge, Stephen Floyd.
