The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce’s 20-Under 40 recognized 20 professionals at an awards ceremony held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the McNease Convention Center. SAN ANGELO – The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce’s 4th annual, 20-Under 40 acknowledgment of influential professionals had kind of an NFL Draft feel. Chamber President/ CEO, Walt Koenig who served as both master of ceremony, and presenter also awarded the Chamber’s own version of 1st round draft choices their prestigious award.
Among the 20 were three recipients: Senora Scott, Kelsey Hernandez, and Molly Turk who were asked the following question. What does this award personally mean to you?
“Out of 160 applications and nominations taken, to be in that group alone is phenomenal. To be actually chosen there are no words to describe this honor” said Scott.
“I am honored and humbled to have received the 20-Under 40 Award and be a part of this year’s great class.” I also appreciate the opportunity to represent SAISD Educators” stated Johnson.
“It is a huge honor personally, especially being the youngest recipient to represent the San Angelo Police Department” Hernandez said.

La Cámara premia a 20 ganadores menores de 40 años
La organización 20-Under 40 de la Cámara de Comercio de San Angelo reconoció a 20 profesionales en una ceremonia de premiación celebrada el jueves 26 de octubre de 2023, de 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. en el Centro de Convenciones McNease.
SAN ANGELO – El cuarto reconocimiento anual de la Cámara de Comercio de San Angelo a profesionales influyentes de 20 menores de 40 años tuvo una impresión como de Draft de la NFL. El presidente y director ejecutivo de la Cámara, Walt Koenig, quien actuó como maestro de ceremonia y presentador, también otorgó su prestigioso premio a la propia versión de la Cámara de las selecciones del draft de la primera ronda.
Entre los 20 había tres destinatarios: la señora Scott, Kelsey Hernandez y Molly Turk a quienes se les hizo la siguiente pregunta. ¿Qué significa personalmente este premio para usted?
“De 160 solicitudes y nominaciones recibidas, estar solo en ese grupo es fenomenal. Ser elegido realmente no hay palabras para describir este honor”, dijo Scott.
"Me siento honrada y honrada de haber recibido el premio 20-Under 40 y ser parte de la gran generación de este año". También aprecio la oportunidad de representar a los educadores de SAISD”, afirmó Johnson.
"Es un gran honor personalmente, especialmente ser la destinataria más joven en representar al Departamento de Policía de San Angelo", dijo Hernández.
