What Does the Bible Say?
I Timothy 2:1-4 says… “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way. This is good and it is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
From this scripture, we learn:
1. We are to pray for ALL MEN. V1
2. We are to pray for those in high positions. V2
3. We are to lead quiet, peaceful, godly and respectful lives. V2
4. This kind of behavior is good and acceptable to God. V3
5. God wants all men to be saved and this should be our aim. V4
It seems like we have some praying to do!

I Timoteo 2: 1-4 dice ... “En primer lugar, entonces, exhorto a que se hagan súplicas, oraciones, intercesiones y acciones de gracias por todos los hombres, por los reyes y por todos los que están en posiciones elevadas, para que podamos llevar una paz y tranquilidad. vida pacífica, piadosa y respetuosa en todos los sentidos. Esto es bueno y agradable a los ojos de Dios nuestro Salvador, quien desea que todos los hombres se salven y lleguen al conocimiento de la verdad ”.
De esta escritura, aprendemos:
1. Debemos orar por TODOS LOS HOMBRES. V1
2. Debemos orar por aquellos en posiciones altas. V2
3. Debemos llevar una vida tranquila, pacífica, piadosa y respetuosa. V2
4. Este tipo de comportamiento es bueno y aceptable para Dios. V3
5. Dios quiere que todos los hombres se salven y este debe ser nuestro objetivo. V4
¡Parece que tenemos algo que orar!
