SAN ANGELO — TLCA High Band Director, Bryan Patterson and Mrs. Alexandria Wagner both
accomplished their goals in behalf of the high school band.
First, Mr. Patterson stated the high school and junior high bands received a Division I rating after competing recently in UIL concert and sight-reading contest. The band’s hard work will be much sweeter once they have new uniforms to go along with their D-I rating. Because Wagner, the coordinator for TLCA’s garage sale held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, proudly announced to Conexión a total of $868 from their annual fundraiser.
Household items, clothing, electronics, bicycles, shoes, were sold at reasonable prices. “If they get a bag and fill it with clothing, it would only cost $2,” said Alexandria.
The next performance for both bands and a third one, TLCA Elementary will be in a relaxed setting. An “Experienced Spring Band Concert” will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at TLCA Elementary Gym, 3301 TLCA Way.
