Celebrating the Start of a New School Year

San Angelo, Texas – The San Angelo Independent School District held its annual Convocation event at the Foster Communications Coliseum on Thursday, August 15th. This gathering celebrates the start of a new school year. Dr. Carol Ann Bond, former superintendent of the San Angelo Independent School District, was the guest of honor at this convocation ceremony which was open to all SAISD employees and the public.
Both Central High School and Lake View High School mariachi, band, choir, and orchestra students performed for the attendees. The Color Guard from each school were also present.

San Angelo, Texas – El Distrito Escolar Independiente de San Angelo celebró su evento anual de Convocatoria en el Coliseo Foster Communications el jueves 15 de agosto. Esta reunión celebra el inicio de un nuevo año escolar, la Dr. Carol Ann Bond exsuperintendente del distrito escolar independiente de San Angelo fue la invitada de honor a esta ceremonia de convocatoria la cual estuvo abierta a todos los empleados de SAISD y al público.
Tanto los estudiantes de banda, mariachi, coro y orquesta de las escuelas secundarias Central, Lake View actuaron para los asistentes. El Color Guard de cada escuela también estuvo presente.
