San Angelo, Texas – The U.S. District Clerk’s Office in San Angelo has had the pleasure of having Daina Schwartz as part of their team for the last 10 years. Her last day with the office was on Thursday, June 13th. Daina was raised in Del Rio and graduated high school there. Soon after that she attended Howard Junior College in San Angelo and graduated with a 2-year Legal Assistant Degree, later receiving her bachelor’s degree in Communications and Public Relations with a minor in Business Management from Angelo State University. She has been in San Angelo for 35 years now.
Her experience throughout her career has been diversified. She has been involved in legal areas as well as banking. She also worked at Verizon in the legal compliance department. Daina will be moving to Wimberly, Texas where she is looking to work as a marketing director at a bank.
In the U.S. District Clerk’s office, she was involved in the new citizen processing for several years. “I wanted to make it special and wanted them to feel like they are now Americans and part of this great country, which is the greatest country in the world. I wanted them to each feel like they are important because they are,” commented Schwartz.
Not only because of her career but also due to her volunteer work, Daina has been fortunate and blessed to get to know many leaders in the community. “I love working for the U.S. Courts. It has been wonderful to me and I will miss everyone,” stated Schwartz.
Having been in San Angelo for 35 years Daina Schwartz has known many people in the city and has been a part of many organizations. “I love San Angelo and it’s people, I will miss it tremendously. I hope that people get involved and help others. I highly recommend it. I know it will give them great return 10 fold,” concluded Schwartz.

San Angelo, Texas – La Oficina del secretario del Distrito de los Estados Unidos en San Angelo ha tenido el placer de tener a Daina Schwartz como parte de su equipo durante los últimos 10 años. Su último día en la oficina fue el jueves 13 de junio. Daina se crió en Del Rio y se graduó de la escuela preparatoria allí. Poco después, asistió a Howard Junior College en San Angelo y en 2 años se graduó con un título de asistente legal, y más tarde recibió su licenciatura en Comunicaciones y Relaciones Públicas, con una licenciatura en Administración de Empresas de la Universidad Estatal Angelo. Ella ha estado en San Angelo por 35 años.
A lo largo de su carrera su experiencia ha sido diversificada. Ella ha estado involucrada en áreas legales, así como en la banca. También trabajó en Verizon en el departamento de cumplimiento legal. Daina se mudará a Wimberly, Texas, donde está buscando trabajar como directora de marketing en un banco.
En la oficina del secretario del Distrito de los Estados Unidos, durante varios años ella estuvo involucrada en el procesamiento de nuevos ciudadanos. "Quería que fuera especial y quería que se sintieran como si ahora fueran estadounidenses y parte de este gran país, que es el mejor país del mundo". Quería que cada uno sintiera que son importantes porque lo son", comentó Schwartz.
No solo por su carrera, sino también por su trabajo voluntario, Daina ha tenido la suerte y la bendición de conocer a muchos líderes de la comunidad. "Me encanta trabajar para los tribunales de los Estados Unidos. "Ha sido maravilloso para mí y los extrañaré a todos", dijo Schwartz.
Habiendo estado en San Angelo por 35 años, Daina Schwartz ha conocido a muchas personas en la ciudad y ha sido parte de muchas organizaciones. "Amo a San Angelo y su gente, la extrañaré muchísimo. Espero que las personas se involucren y ayuden a los demás. Lo recomiendo altamente. Sé que les dará un gran retorno de 10 tantos", concluyó Schwartz.
