SAN ANGELO – EnPleinAir Texas making its ninth appearance locally has become one of the top three sought-after events that showcases 38 of the best artists representing 17 states.
Two individuals, co-chairs Barbara Rallo and Treva Boyd, have worked tirelessly and professionally to ensure the 38 personally-invited professional artists know that this event highlights their work.
Rallo stated that artists will be coming from 10 states in Texas and the other 28 artists from states such as California, Utah, Maryland, Virginia, etc. Among those 38 artists will be Christine Lashley, last year’s Grand Prize Elta Joyce Murphey Award recipient.
EnPleinAir Texas which means “painting outdoors” will be held October 21-29, 2022. It will spend the first three days of the event scattered across West Texas, and hosted on 18 ranches.
On Tuesday, October 25, artist, Suzie Baker will be at East Concho Avenue from 9-11 a.m. and Spencer Meagher will appear at the International Waterlilly Collection Civic League Park, 2 N. Park from 2-4 p.m.
The artists will be judged by Michael Obermeyer. Obermeyer will present over $35,000 in awards at the 9th Annual STAMPEDE Oct. 28th. The 6 p.m. ceremony will take place at the Stables.
Another invited guest, Michael Grauer will serve as Selection Juror. Grauer is considered one of the leading western art historians in the United States.
EnPleinAir Texas is being hosted by the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts.

SAN ÁNGELO – EnPleinAir Texas, en su novena edición a nivel local, se ha convertido en uno de los tres eventos más buscados que presenta a 38 de los mejores artistas que representan a 17 estados.
Dos personas, las copresidentas Barbara Rallo y Treva Boyd, han trabajado incansable y profesionalmente para garantizar que los 38 artistas profesionales invitados personalmente sepan que este evento destaca su trabajo.
Rallo dijo que los artistas vendrán de 10 estados de Texas y los otros 28 artistas de estados como California, Utah, Maryland, Virginia, etc. Entre esos 38 artistas estará Christine Lashley, ganadora del Gran Premio Elta Joyce Murphey del año pasado.
EnPleinAir Texas, que significa "pintar al aire libre", se llevará a cabo del 21 al 29 de octubre de 2022. Pasará los primeros tres días del evento repartidos por el oeste de Texas en 18 ranchos.
