Del Rio, Texas – Edwin Pulido a sales agent at a Del Rio Nissan dealership spends his spare time participating in the sport of Chareria. His father was the first person to encourage Pulido in the sport.
For me the Chareria originated in the State of Zacatecas, Mexico. From the age of 5 Pulido started practicing the art. He now somewhat of an ambassador for the sport. “I have been fortunate to meet several people and friends that have helped me be able to practice the sport in both the United Stated and in Mexico,” commented Pulido.
Pulido feels it is an honor to take Chareria everywhere he goes in both countries. “I am a sales agent and a financial assistant at the Nissan agency. My priority is my profession and when there is time, I go participate in the Chareria,” commented Pulido.
“I surround myself with Charros that have the special ability to teach and they have helped me to teach. It is important to share what we know so that this can go from generation to generation, as I learned from my father, my cousin Julio Pulido and other people in Zacatecas and here in Del Rio Mr. Armando Correa and my friend Raúl López, and if I forget my sister and mother who have supported me in everything.” Concluded Pulido.

Del Rio, Texas – Edwin Pulido, un agente de ventas en la concesionaria Nissan en Del Rio, pasa su tiempo libre participando en el deporte de la Charrería. Su padre fue la primera persona en alentar a Pulido en el deporte.
Para mi la Charrería se originó en el Estado de Zacatecas, México. Desde los 5 años, Pulido comenzó a practicar el arte. Ahora es un embajador del deporte. "Tuve la suerte de conocer a varias personas y amigos que me ayudaron a practicar el deporte tanto en Estados Unidos como en México", comentó Pulido.
Pulido siente que es un honor llevar a la Charrería a donde quiera que vaya en ambos países. “Soy agente de ventas y asistente financiero en la agencia Nissan. Mi prioridad es mi profesión y cuando hay tiempo, voy a participar en la Charrería”, comentó Pulido.
“Me rodeo de Charros que tienen la habilidad especial de enseñar y me han ayudado a enseñar. Es importante compartir lo que sabemos para que esto pueda ir de generación en generación, tal como yo lo aprendí de mi padre, de mi primo Julio Pulido y otras personas más en Zacatecas y aquí en Del Rio el señor Armando Correa y mi amigo Raúl López, y si olvidar a mi hermana y a madre que me han apoyado en todo”. Concluyó Pulido.
