ADACCV’s motto for the national “Kick Butts” Day event was “say no to tobacco, say yes to taco.”
It was held at the San Angelo Boys and Girls Club on Wednesday, March 16, 2021.
SAN ANGELO – The Concho Valley C.A.R.E.S. Coalition, ADACCV, and the San Angelo Boys and Girls Club tag-teamed to kick butt with a national day of activism to empower youth, to educate them, to speak up and to eliminate tobacco use among them. Both the San Angelo YMCA and Boys and Girls Club Spring Break Camp participants received tobacco education. Tiffany Parker, CEO of Boys and Girls Club de San Angelo, told Conexión there were two parts to this year’s 2021 event. The first one involved a classroom learning session. With the kids out for spring break, the second one was a time for just pure adrenaline, kick-ball fun.
Joining ADACCV for the “Kick Butts” event, were members of the San Angelo Police Department which participated in a kids’ game that delighted the six-year-olds and older group.
The “Butts Day” was recognized on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. It was held from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the San Angelo Boys and Girls Club facility.

Se llevó a cabo en San Angelo Boys and Girls Club el miércoles 16 de marzo de 2021.
SAN ANGELO - La Coalición C.A.R.E.S. del Valle del Concho, ADACCV y San Angelo Boys and Girls Club se unieron para patear traseros con un día nacional de activismo para empoderar a jóvenes, educarlos, hablar y prevenir el consumo de tabaco entre ellos.
Tanto el YMCA de San Ángelo como los participantes del campamento de vacaciones de primavera del Boys and Girls Club recibieron educación sobre el tabaco. Tiffany Parker, directora ejecutiva del Boys and Girls Club de San Ángelo, dijo a Conexión que el evento 2021 de este año estaría dividido en dos partes. La primera una sesión de aprendizaje en el aula. Con los niños fuera para las vacaciones de primavera, el segundo fue un momento de pura adrenalina y diversión con el balón.
En conjunto con ADACCV para el evento "Kick Butts", estuvieron miembros del Departamento de Policía de San Ángelo, quienes participaron en un juego para niños que deleitó al grupo de edades seis en adelante.
El “Día de Butts” fue reconocido el martes 16 de marzo de 2021. Se llevó a cabo de 9:30 a.m. a 11 a.m. en las instalaciones del San Angelo Boys and Girls
