San Angelo, Texas – On Tuesday, August 27th The West Texas RSVP held its Hands That Share Hearts That Care event at the McNease Convention Center recognizing over 400 volunteers that contributed their time this year. Dolores Schwertner, RSVP Director spoke to Conexión stating, “There are 52 non-profits and public agencies here from throughout the community.”
“Volunteers were recognized for their long tenor, hours served and the difference they made in the community,” commented Schwertner. The event provided lunch and entertainment in appreciation. Eight volunteers received the Lifetime Award which recognizes volunteers that have served over 4000 hours.

San Ángelo, Texas – El RSVP West Texas, el martes 27 de agosto celebró su evento Hands That Share Hearts That Care en el Centro de Convenciones McNease, reconociendo a más de 400 voluntarios que contribuyeron con su tiempo este año. "Los voluntarios fueron reconocidos por su largo plazo, sus horas de servicio y la diferencia que hicieron en la comunidad", comentó Schwertner. El evento brindó almuerzo y entretenimiento en agradecimiento. Ocho voluntarios recibieron el premio Lifetime Award que reconoce a los voluntarios que han servido más de 4000 horas.
