Conexion San Ángelo / Gregorio Gutiérrez.
I was born and raised in Tulia Texas up in the Panhandle, but I’ve been living in San Angelo most of my life. When I went to high school I got into a little problem because I had my children when I was young. I left school, but I got my GED. Then I continued with some studies at ASU, where I received an Office Assistant Certificate.
When I started working at ADACC it was through someone that reached out to me through Facebook and offered me the position of receptionist. This person who reached me was the CASA Advocate for my children. This lady had always remembered me, and she knew that I was able to regain custody of my children and turned my life around through the Grace of God. By this time, I had been clean and saved for about 4 years. I met with Eric Sanchez for an interview and I worked for ADACC for almost 3 years. From Receptionist I was promoted to Admin Support Tech.
I really enjoyed it there and I grew a lot and was able to reach out and talk to some of the women there because also I had been through the outpatient program there. I would tell the men and women that you need to go above and beyond what CPS is asking you for because you need to prove to them that you should have your kids back.
I will be married 3 years on May 14th. The way we connected was a through church and a divine plan that God put together it and be an example to whoever I need to be an example to. The bible says in First Corinthians that our consolation is for others, so I believe that a lot of the challenges that I face such as what I went through with CPS I can see Gods fingerprint and Gods hand on me and my life.
I guess my message of hope would be find you identity in Christ and find that relationship and be the mother or father that God has called you to be. Find your purpose here on Earth and let it be his will in your life.

Nací y crecí en Tulia Texas en el Panhandle, pero he vivido en San Angelo la mayor parte de mi vida. Cuando fui a la preparatoria me metí en un pequeño problema porque tuve a mis hijos cuando era joven. Me salí de la escuela, pero obtuve mi GED. Luego continué con algunos estudios en ASU, donde recibí un certificado de auxiliar de oficina.
Cuando comencé a trabajar en ADACC, fue a través de alguien que me contactó a través de Facebook y me ofreció el puesto de recepcionista. Esta persona que se acercó a mí era la Abogada de CASA para mis hijos. Esta señora siempre me había recordado y sabía que pude recuperar la custodia de mis hijos y cambiar mi vida a través de la Gracia de Dios. Para entonces ya había estado limpia y salva durante unos 4 años. Me reuní con Eric Sánchez para una entrevista y trabajé para ADACC durante casi 3 años. De recepcionista fui promovida a soporte técnico administrativo.
Realmente disfruté y crecí mucho allí, y pude comunicarme con algunas de las mujeres que estaban allí porque yo también había pasado por el programa de pacientes ambulatorios. Yo les diría a los hombres y mujeres que deben ir más allá de lo que el CPS le está pidiendo porque necesitan demostrarle que deben recuperar a sus hijos.
El 14 de mayo estaré cumpliendo 3 años de casada. La forma en que nos conectamos fue a través de una iglesia y un plan divino en el que Dios lo creó y fue un ejemplo para quien necesito que sea un ejemplo. La Biblia dice en Corintios que nuestro consuelo es para los demás, por lo que creo que muchos de los desafíos que enfrento, como los que experimenté con el CPS, puedo ver la huella y la mano de Dios sobre mí y mi vida.
Supongo que mi mensaje de esperanza sería encontrar tu identidad en Cristo y encontrar esa relación y ser la madre o el padre que Dios te ha llamado a ser. Encuentra tu propósito aquí en la Tierra y deja que sea su voluntad en tu vida.
