Mi cultura no es simple o una fiesta o un festival, mi cultura mexicana es una herencia a toda la hispanidad, a nuestros hijos e hijas, nietos, nietas, sobrinos y sobrinas, es una herencia llena de tradición, costumbres, religión, arte, diseños y multicolor en todos los aspectos. Abilene se viste de gala y se prepara para recibir el mes de la hispanidad, donde inicio con unos de los espectáculos más grandes y bellos en el Paramount Theater, bajo la dirección de Álvaro Muñoz en la producción “Viva México” un gran espectáculo Abilene, Award-winnning St. Vincent Ballet Folklorico, con bailes, de Jalisco, Veracruz, Guerrero para mencionar uno de ellos, entre ellos tuvieron la actuación especial de Tania Muñoz Tully como “Juana Gallos” en el baile “La Revolución”.
No solo fue un gran éxito, pero también fue homenaje a las fundadoras originales del ballet, Martha Muñoz que vino desde la cuidad de México después de 43 años de a ver partido de la ciudad de Abilene Y Monreal que vino la ciudad de Dallas quien también partió de Abilene en el 1986.
Para mí fue más que un honor se el maestro de ceremonia por segunda vez, recibiendo con orgullo un reconocimiento por mi apoyo y el amor a la hispanidad, para mí no fue un simple reconocimiento, pero un prestigio poder representar quien soy, de donde soy, de donde mis raíces inician en una familia estadounidense que proviene de un origen étnico, pero conjuga dos, idiomas, dos culturas, dos países. Es más que un placer representar a la comunidad hispana en mi comunidad en donde quiera que yo este.

My culture is not simple or a party or a festival, my Mexican culture is an inheritance to all Hispanic people, to our sons and daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, nephews, and nieces, it is an inheritance full of tradition, customs, religion, art, designs and multicolor in all aspects.
