Sandra Franke Executive Director of Pregnancy Help Center of Concho Valley, Inc., In an interview, she explained the functions and the mission of this pregnancy center
“We are a ministry for woman who are in crisis pregnancy we are here to help guide through the options which are only 3 Parenting, Planning and aborting, we never recommend abortion, but we do talk to them about it. If she is not ready to be parent, they are all hard choices.
The positive thing of the center is that it grieves us to see a woman can be even in labor and decide that its to hard and take the life of a baby who is fully developed it seems like a better choice to just deliver and place the baby but fortunately, we don’t have to deal with that in Texas you can only have an abortion up to 20 weeks.
“There is so much risk, if her cervix is damaged during the process, she will never be able to carry a baby we have seen how it hurts woman; The Pregnancy center has a volunteer and staff member that has a degree in counseling. Most of our advocates have gone through 6 months of training on the pregnancy issue. Occasionally we have clients who have major issues and we refer to a professional.”

We open daily Monday through Friday and stay open late Tuesday and Thursday and appointment is preferred but we will work in walk-ins. We have also have a closet full of baby clothes if any Mother need baby clothes stop by and get it.”
“We are open to donation we don’t receive state, federal or government funding. Local Christians are those who support us. We also have post abortion support if you have had an abortion in the past and need help or someone to talk about it we are here for you we are not mad at you. We will set you up with an advocate who is especially trained in that topic.” She concluded saying.

“Es un ministerio para mujeres que están en crisis, estamos aquí para ayudar a guiar a través de las opciones que son solo 3: Crianza. Planificación y Aborto, nunca recomendamos el aborto, pero sí les hablamos al respecto. Si ella no está lista para ser madre, todas las opciones son difíciles.
Lo positivo del centro es que nos duele ver a una mujer que puede estar en el parto y decidir que es difícil y quita la vida a un bebé que está completamente desarrollado. Pero, afortunadamente, no tenemos que lidiar con eso en Texas, porque solo puedes abortar hasta no más de las 20 semanas”.
Existe tanto riesgo, que, si su cuello uterino se daña durante el proceso, nunca podrá llevar a un bebé, hemos visto cómo duele a la mujer; El centro de embarazo tiene un voluntario y un miembro del personal que tiene un título en asesoramiento. La mayoría de nuestros consejeros han pasado 6 meses de capacitación sobre el tema del embarazo. De vez en cuando tenemos clientes que tienen problemas importantes y los referimos a un profesional.

Abrimos todos los días de lunes a viernes y nos quedamos tarde los martes y jueves, se prefiere una cita, pero trabajaremos sin cita previa. También tenemos un armario lleno de ropa para bebés, si alguna madre necesita ropa para bebés, venga y recójala.
Estamos abiertos a la donación. No recibimos fondos estatales, federales o gubernamentales. Los cristianos locales son quienes nos apoyan. También contamos con apoyo post aborto si usted ha tenido un aborto en el pasado y necesita ayuda o alguien para hablar sobre ello. Estamos aquí para ti, no estamos enojados contigo. Le pondremos en contacto con un defensor que esté especialmente capacitado en ese tema”. Concluyó diciendo.
