San Angelo- The Boys and Girls Club of San Angelo held their annual event Pillars of San Angelo on October 17th, 2019 at the McNease Convention Center. This special event recognizes the men and women who have become the pillars of our great community. The Program’s Master of Ceremony was Bruce Partain, CEO of San Angelo Chamber of Commerce. There was a total of 5 honorees who were presented with award. Conexion had the opportunity to interview one of the honorees Lori Barton, Principal of Fort Concho Elementary “ I accept this award on behalf of all the principles and all educators because I just represent a little part of them”
The Boys and Girls Club is an important organization for our youth because it helps them grow and learn in a safe place.
