La pregunta es por qué quienes vieron a Jesús no lo recibieron ni creyeron.

Juan 8:37, 39, 42, 47: «Sé que sois descendientes de Abraham; sin embargo, procuráis matarme, porque mi palabra no encuentra cabida en vosotros». 

Le respondieron: «Nuestro padre es Abraham». Jesús les dijo: «Si fueseis hijos de Abraham, haríais lo que Abraham hizo». Jesús les dijo: «Si Dios fuese vuestro Padre, me amaríais, porque yo he salido de Dios; no he venido por mi propia cuenta, sino que él me envió». «El que es de Dios oye las palabras de Dios; por eso vosotros no las oís, porque no sois de Dios». Esto es parte de una conversación entre Jesús y quienes lo rechazan.

 De él aprendemos:

1. No creyeron en la palabra de Dios. (Versículo 37)

2. No hicieron las obras de Dios. En otras palabras, no obedecieron a Dios. (Versículo 39)

3. No amaron a Dios ni a su hijo. (Versículo 42)

4. No eran de Dios. (Versículo 47) Estas personas se parecían a su verdadero padre

Satanás. (Versículo 44) No todos aman y siguen a Dios, pero tú sí puedes. 

No seas de los que rechazan a Dios y la vida.

What Does the Bible Say?

The question is why did the people that saw Jesus did not receive him or believe him. What does the Bible say?

John 8:37, 39, 42, 47 “I know that you are descendants of Abraham; yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you.” “They answered him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do what Abraham did,” “Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I proceeded and came forth from God; I came not of my own accord, but he sent me.” “He who is of God hears the words of God; the reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”

This is part of a conversation between Jesus and those who are rejecting him. Please read the whole paragraph in your Bible, John 8:34-47. From it we learn:

1.      They did not believe the word of God. (Verse 37)

2.      They did not do the works of God. In other words, they did not obey God. (Verse 39)

3.      They did not love God and they did not love God’s son. (Verse 42)

4.      They were not of God. (Verse 47)

These people resembled their true Father Satan. (Verse 44) Not everyone loves and follows God but you can. Don’t be one of those people who reject God and life.
