¿Qué dice la Biblia?

El día que eres salvo es el día que comienzas. Algunos creen que convertirse en cristiano es una decisión que se toma una sola vez. ¿Qué dice la Biblia?

Colosenses 1:9-12: “Por eso, desde el día que lo oímos, no hemos cesado de orar por ustedes, pidiendo que sean llenos del conocimiento de su voluntad en toda sabiduría e inteligencia espiritual, para que vivan una vida digna del Señor, agradándole en todo, dando fruto en toda buena obra y creciendo en el conocimiento de Dios. Que seáis fortalecidos con todo poder, conforme a la potencia de su gloria, para toda perseverancia y paciencia, con gozo, dando gracias al Padre que nos hizo aptos para participar de la herencia de los santos en luz”.

De esta escritura aprendemos que el día que llegamos a Cristo fue el comienzo de una vida de acción.

1. Pablo dijo que nunca dejó de orar por ellos.

2. Ora para que sigan creciendo en el conocimiento de la voluntad de Dios y que obtengan cada vez más sabiduría y comprensión espiritual. 3. Deben llevar una vida digna del Señor.

4. Deben llevar una vida que agrade al Señor.

5. Deben dar fruto en toda buena obra.

Estas instrucciones y expectativas de Dios no son fáciles, pero la buena noticia es que tenemos ayuda. Asegúrate de leer el artículo de la próxima semana para encontrar la ayuda disponible. What Does the Bible Say?

The day you are saved is the day you begin. Some believe that to become a Christian is a onetime decision. What does the Bible say?

Colossians 1:9-12 “And so, from the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to lead a life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.”

From this scripture we learn that the day we came to Christ was the beginning of a lifetime of action.

1. Paul said he never quit praying for them.

2. He prays that they will continue to grow in knowledge of God’s will and that they get more and more spiritual wisdom and understanding.

3. They must lead a life “worthy” of the Lord.

4. They must lead a life pleasing to the Lord.

5. They must bear fruit in every good work.
