SAN ANGELO – En la entrevista realizada por Conexión San Angelo al pastor Edgar Trinidad, dijo. “Soy de familia pobre, pero luchadora, desde joven yo sabía que quería seguir los pasos de la iglesia católica y ser sacerdote, pero mis padres querían que me convirtiera en médico o abogado.”
A los 11 años asistió a un estudio bíblico y le fascinó. Después de asistir a las dos iglesias tuvo la realización de que él era hijo de Dios y a los días aceptó al Señor como su salvador personal y cuando cumplió 15 años trajo su primer mensaje.
También comentó. “He predicado en México y en varias ciudades de Centro América, mientras trabajaba, yo guardaba dinero y luego viajaba y predicaba. En los 80s hubo un huracán en Puerto Rico y en ese tiempo entré a la fuerza armada me gradué en Operaciones Especiales de Química, luego fui enviado al Golfo Pérsico, pero un día me di cuenta de que mi tiempo en la fuerza había acabado y entendí que no era mi lugar.”
En 1999 terminó su licenciatura y regresó a Puerto Rico para organizar unos aspectos de su vida. Comenzó dos periódicos y un programa radial. Estando bien posicionado y prosperando, El pastor Edgar dijo, “pero me faltaba algo.” Lo dejó todo y llegó al estado de Texas a plantar iglesias
En esta sociedad todo es Dios, uno menciona Jesús Cristo y hay problemas. El cristianismo fue fundado por Jesús Cristo, y la sociedad lo ha sacado de todo. El pastor Trinidad dijo. “La gente se pregunta, si Dios existe, ¿porque hay tanta maldad en el mundo?” El problema no es qué, si existe o no, sino que se ha sacado Jesús de todo lo que hay en el mundo; tenemos que poner nuestra fe en Jesús.”

He also commented. "I have preached in Mexico and in several cities in Central America, while I worked, saved money and then traveled and preached. In the 80s there was a hurricane in Puerto Rico and at that time I entered the armed forces and I graduated in Chemistry Special Operations, then I was sent to the Persian Gulf. One day I realized that my time in the force was over and I understood that was not my place. "
In 1999 he finished his degree and returned to Puerto Rico to organize some aspects of his life. He started two newspapers and a radio program. Being well positioned and thriving, Pastor Edgar said, "but I was missing something." He left everything and came to the state of Texas to plant churches.

"People wonder, if God exists, why is there so much evil in the world?"
