SAPD: Arrestan a Sospechosa por Brutal Homicidio y Descarte de Restos

 El pasado miércoles 24 de junio de 2026, el Departamento de Policía de San Angelo recibió información sobre un posible homicidio ocurrido en la cuadra 1400 de la calle Parker. La División de Investigaciones Criminales del Departamento de Policía de San Angelo comenzó de inmediato a investigar la información y posteriormente identificó a una sospechosa, Audrey Troncoso (31 años).

Durante la investigación, los detectives determinaron que Audrey Troncoso disparó a Roland Matthew Sheppard (34 años) en el rostro y lo apuñaló en numerosas ocasiones, causándole la muerte. Asimismo, los investigadores descubrieron que, tras el homicidio, la sospechosa intentó ocultar y deshacerse de los restos de la víctima.

                A medida que avanzaba la investigación, se recuperaron partes de los restos de la víctima en el basurero de Republic Services, ubicado en el 3002 de Old Ballinger Highway. Los detectives determinaron que los restos provenían de un contenedor de basura situado en la cuadra 600 de la calle Baker.

 Audrey Troncoso ha sido acusada de homicidio y actualmente se encuentra detenida en la cárcel del condado de Tom Green bajo una fianza de 2.000.000 de dólares. La investigación continúa en curso. Se dará a conocer más información a medida que esté disponible.

SAPD: Suspect Arrested After Brutal Homicide and Attempted Disposal of Remains

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, the San Angelo Police Department received

information regarding a possible homicide that had occurred in the 1400 block

of Parker Street.

 The San Angelo Police Department Criminal Investigations Division

immediately began investigating the information and subsequently identified a

suspect, Audrey Troncoso (31). 

 During the investigation, detectives learned that Audrey Troncoso shot Roland

Matthew Sheppard (34) in the facial area and stabbed him numerous times,

causing his death. Investigators further learned that after the homicide, the

suspect attempted to conceal and dispose of the victim’s remains.

 As the investigation continued, portions of the victim’s remains were recovered

at Republic Services landfill, located at 3002 Old Ballinger Highway. Detectives

determined the remains originated from a dumpster located in the 600 block of

Baker Street.

 Audrey Troncoso has been charged with Murder and is currently being held at

the Tom Green County Jail on a $2,000,000 Bond.  

The investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be released as it
