San Ángelo, Texas – Para Virgilio San Miguel conocido locutor y empresario, ser ciudadano de este país, no es solamente un privilegio sino a la vez es una obligación.
Virgilio es un inmigrante mexicano, graduado en Derecho Civil en su país natal y además estudió Administración de Empresas. Nunca pensó en emigrar a Estados Unidos y formar parte de este país. Sin embargo, San Miguel recientemente obtuvo su nacionalidad estadounidense.
“Desde muy chico mi padre me inculcó el estudio, e influyó totalmente en mi vida, antes de establecer mi bufete en México vine a visitar a mis tíos a San Angelo”, dijo Virgilio. “Parte de mi familia es propietaria de dos restaurantes y ya estando acá, me ofrecieron apoyo en lo que tenían y empecé a tomar las riendas del negocio, y un buen día conocí a mi esposa, nos casamos y ahora aquí estoy orgullosamente como un nuevo ciudadano.
Virgilio considera a EE. UU. como un gran país, y dice que cuando venía de turista, siempre veía lo bonito, pero ya estando acá se enfrenta uno a la realidad. “Yo amo a México, pero también amo a los Estados Unidos”, dijo Virgilio. “Siempre me ha abierto las puertas y me ha dado oportunidades. Considero que hacerse ciudadano es muy importante, lo cual nos da beneficios y obligaciones, en mis proyectos he experimentado caídas, subidas, fracasos, pero he hecho mi sueño una realidad”.
Virgilio dijo que desde muy pequeño con el dinero que le daba su padre para sus gastos, hacía cuentas para saber cuánto le faltaba para tener un negocio propio, y que al estar en Estados Unidos este conocimiento le ayudó mucho, pudo hacerse realidad lo que siempre se propuso, no ser solamente empresario, sino una persona independiente.

San Angelo, Texas – For Virgilio San Miguel, well-known announcer and businessman, being a citizen of this country is not only a privilege but also an obligation.
Virgilio is a Mexican immigrant, graduated in Civil Law in his native country and also studied Business Administration. He never thought of emigrating to the United States and being part of this country. However, San Miguel recently obtained his American citizenship.
"From a very young age my father instilled the study in me, and it totally influenced my life, before I established my law firm in Mexico, I came to visit my uncles in San Angelo," said Virgilio. “Part of my family owns two restaurants and already being here, they offered me support in what they had and I started to take charge of the business, and one day I met my wife, we got married and now here I am proudly like a new citizen."
Virgilio considers the United States as a great country, and says that when he came as a tourist, he always saw the beautiful, but being here one faces reality. "I love Mexico, but I also love the United States," said Virgilio. “It has always opened doors for me and given me opportunities. I consider that becoming a citizen is very important, which gives us benefits and obligations, in my projects I have experienced falls, rises, failures, but I have made my dream a reality.”
Virgilio said that from a very young age with the money his father gave him for his expenses, he made accounts to find out how much he needed to have his own business, and that being in the United States this knowledge helped him a lot, what could always become a reality he decided not to be just an entrepreneur, but an independent person.
