San Angelo, Texas – David Currie Democratic Party Chair is in his 6th year of leading the group. Currie will be retiring in June of 2020, although he will still be active locally and statewide. “I have some health and family issues that I need to take care of,” commented Currie.
Currie feels that the Democratic Party making a comeback. “People are realizing that we are the party that cares about public education our roads and health care, “stated Currie. According to Currie the Democrats are gaining support across the state as the Republican Party becomes more radical. “I think 2020 is going to be a great year for Democrats nationally and in Texas,” concluded Currie.
After retirement David Currie plans to devote more time to his wife and business interests. He encourages the community to stay positive, loving and kind. Always remembering that family is the most important thing in the world.

San Ángelo, Texas – El presidente del partido demócrata David Currie está en su sexto año de liderazgo del grupo. Currie se jubilará en junio de 2020, aunque seguirá activo a nivel local y estatal. "Tengo algunos problemas de salud y familiares que necesito resolver", comentó Currie.
Currie, siente que el Partido Demócrata está regresando. "La gente se está dando cuenta de que somos la parte que se preocupa por la educación pública, por nuestras carreteras y la atención médica", afirmó Currie. Según Currie, los demócratas están ganando apoyo en todo el estado a medida que el partido republicano se vuelve más radical. "Creo que 2020 será un gran año para los demócratas a nivel nacional y en Texas", concluyó Currie.
David Currie después de jubilarse, planea dedicar más tiempo a su esposa e intereses comerciales. Él alienta a la comunidad a mantenerse positiva, amorosa y amable. Siempre recordando que la familia es lo más importante del mundo.
