HostsNational Kick Butts Day Activities with Concho Valley Youth
Concho Valley, TX -The Concho Valley C.A.R.E.S. Coalition (Community Action and Resources for Empowermentand Success), and The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley (ADACCV) wants to share with the community their efforts for and raise awareness of Kick Butts Day 2021. Kick Butts Day is a national day of activism that empowers youth to stand out, speak up and seize control against Big Tobacco. Young people from San Angelo are joining thousands of kids across the nation who are taking part in Kick Butts Day, a nationwide initiative that
educates kids in an effort to eliminate youth tobacco use. As part of Kick Butts Day celebration, both the San Angelo YMCA and Boys and Girls Club Spring Break Camp participants are receiving tobacco education and playing Kick Ball hosted by ADACCV. These will take place March 16th and 18th 9:30-11 am at the Boys and Girls Club and March 17th 9-11am at the YMCA. Joining ADACCV for the Kick Butts event, members of the San Angelo Police Department have volunteered to participate and play kick ball with the kids!
