What Does the Bible Say?

Praising God is quite popular today. Songs are written. Concerts are given. Hands are raised.  Why should we praise God? What does the Bible say?

“O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory for ever. Amen.” Romans 11:33-36

From this great scripture of praise, we learn:

1.      Search high and low and you will still be amazed at his judgments. No matter the time or circumstances they are right.

2.      Investigate the ways of God. Check him out. Look at all he does and you still say, “Wow, there is no one like God.”

¿Qué dice la Biblia?

Alabar a Dios es algo muy popular hoy en día. Se componen canciones. Se ofrecen conciertos. Se levantan las manos. ¿Por qué deberíamos alabar a Dios? ¿Qué dice la Biblia?

«¡Oh, la profundidad de las riquezas, de la sabiduría y del conocimiento de Dios! ¡Cuán insondables son sus juicios e inescrutables sus caminos! «¿Pues quién ha conocido la mente del Señor, o quién ha sido su consejero?» «¿O quién le ha dado algo para que él tenga que retribuirle?» Porque de él, por medio de él y para él son todas las cosas. A él sea la gloria para siempre. Amén». Romanos 11:33-36

De este grandioso pasaje de alabanza, aprendemos lo siguiente:

1. Busca por todas partes, por lo alto y por lo bajo, y aun así te asombrarás ante sus juicios. Sin importar el tiempo o las circunstancias, estos son justos.

2. Investiga los caminos de Dios. Examínalo. Observa todo lo que él hace y aun así dirás: «¡Guau! No hay nadie como Dios».
