Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) released the following statement after being sworn in as the U.S. Representative for the 23rd Congressional District of Texas:
"My life is proof that the American dream is alive and well in this great country. I am honored that the 23rd District has put their trust in me to lead our community in Congress, and I promise to be a strong voice for Texas. Protecting the interests and conservative values of this region is an incredible responsibility, which I gladly accept.

I look forward to serving Texas’ 23rd District in Congress and achieving real, meaningful results for my constituents."
