San Angelo, Texas – Texas State Bank on N. Chadbourne first opened its doors on August 13, 2009. This year they celebrated their 10th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting celebration on Tuesday, August 13th. Their goal was to serve the customers on the north side of town. Nelly Perez, Branch Manager, and Casey Barrett, President/CEO spoke to Conexión about the celebration and about the future of Texas Bank.
The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce was on location to help with the celebration with a ribbon- cutting. “We have been blessed to have great employees with great customer service,” commented Nelly Perez. The Hispanic community has responded well knowing that they can visit the bank and there are representatives available to speak to them in Spanish. “I think word of mouth has been big throughout the Hispanic community,” stated Perez.
Nelly Perez started at the College Hills branch her experience there has helped her now manage the Chadbourne branch. Casey Barrett has lived in San Angelo for 10 years and has been the bank president for 1 year now. “Texas bank is the only home owned bank in San Angelo, and is known for serving the community well,” commented Barrett. He oversees all the functions of the bank.
“We have all the conveniences of the big banks but when you call our telephone someone answers,” commented Barrett. The modern conveniences are great, but it’s good to know that when someone calls Texas Bank someone will answer the phone and provide quality top-notch service. “We are always looking at our products to ensure that we have a product and a service for everyone that come through the door,” concluded Barrett.

San Angelo, Texas – El 13 de agosto de 2009, Texas State Bank abrió sus puertas por primera vez al norte de la calle Chadbourne. Este año, el martes 13 de Agosto celebraron su décimo aniversario con una celebración de inauguración. Su objetivo era servir a los clientes en el lado norte de la ciudad. La Cámara de Comercio de San Ángelo estuvo presente en el lugar para ayudar con la celebración con un corte de listón. "Hemos sido bendecidos de tener excelentes empleados con un excelente servicio al cliente", comentó Nelly Pérez. La comunidad hispana ha respondido bien sabiendo que pueden visitar el banco y que hay representantes disponibles para hablar con ellos en español. "Creo que de boca en boca en toda la comunidad hispana ha sido en grande", dijo Pérez.
Nelly Pérez comenzó en la sucursal de College Hills, su experiencia allí la ha ayudado a administrar la sucursal de Chadbourne. Casey Barrett ha vivido en San Angelo durante 10 años y ha sido presidente del banco durante 1 año. "Texas Bank es el único banco propio en San Angelo, y es conocido por servir bien a la comunidad", comentó Barrett. Él supervisa todas las funciones del banco.
"Tenemos todas las comodidades de los grandes bancos, pero cuando llamas a nuestro teléfono alguien contesta", comentó Barrett. Las comodidades modernas son geniales, pero es bueno saber que cuando alguien llama a Texas Bank alguien contestará el teléfono y brindará un servicio de alta calidad.
