San Angelo, TX (December 1, 2023) — Sunset Mall will be hosting several different holiday
events this December, including Sue and Paul, Pet Nights with Santa, Festival of the Trees,
non-profit gift wrapping, Winter Kids Business Showcase, Choir Performances, Tuba Christmas,
and a pajama movie night. Please find details for each of these events below:
WHAT: Sue and Paul
DETAILS: Sue and Paul, two of Santa’s magical elves, are hiding somewhere inside Sunset
Mall! Find and take a picture with them for a chance to win a magical gift. Follow Sunset Mall on
Facebook and Instagram for helpful hints on Sue and Paul’s location. Be sure to look for them
every day, as they love to visit many different places!
WHEN: November 16th – December 24th
WHERE: Throughout Sunset Mall
WHAT: Pet Photos with Santa
DETAILS: Santa and Cassie’s Place have teamed up for Pet Photos with Santa. Cassie’s Place
will be at Sunset Mall every Monday from 12 – 2pm, along with some adoptable furry friends.
Visit them to find your new fur-ever friend. Donate items to Cassie’s Place for a coupon to
Santa’s photo set for a free photo print. While you are visitng, don’t forget to bring your furry
friends along to get a picture with Santa.
WHEN: On Mondays November 27th – December 18th
WHERE: Sunset Mall North Entrance by Bloo Kangaroo and the Santa Set on the food court
stage. We ask that all pets be leashed or crated.
WHAT: Festival of the Trees
DETAILS: A World for Children will be hosting Festival of the Trees at Sunset Mall. Come
celebrate the season with us and bid on your favorite decorated Christmas tree or wreath. Trees
and wreaths will be decorated by local community sponsors and organizations. All funds raised
will benefit Christmas for foster children and families. Bids will end on 12/10 at 4pm and winning
bidders will be announced at 5pm the same day.

WHERE: Sunset Mall North Entrance
WHAT: Non-Profit Gift Wrapping
DETAILS: Non-profits from the Concho Valley will be ready to make your holiday shopping even
easier! Come to Sunset Mall to buy gifts and have them wrapped in the same visit. Gift

wrapping is available by donations to the non-profit. More openings are available for non-profits.

WHAT: Winter Kids Business Showcase
DETAILS: Calling all young entrepreneurs! The Winter Kids Business Showcase registration is
now open. Young business owners can apply to open for business at Sunset Mall on Saturday,
December 9th. Come support these entrepreneurs as they showcase their businesses and give
them skills they need to successfully operate a business like connecting with clients, managing
money, and producing product.
WHEN: December 9th 12 – 3pm
WHERE: Men’s Dillard’s Courtyard
WHAT: Holiday Music Performances
DETAILS: You are invited to listen to holiday choir performances at Sunset Mall! On December
13th we will have Trinity Lutheran School Choir and San Angelo Christian Academy Choir
performing holiday classics.
WHEN: December 13th 12 – 1pm, 1:30 – 2:30pm
WHERE: Men’s Dillard’s Courtyard
WHAT: Tuba Christmas
DETAILS: Come and enjoy the sounds of tubas and euphoniums as Tuba Christmas plays
holiday classics open to the public. If you are interested in performing, sign up is in the
Community Room at 9am.
WHEN: December 16th, performance at noon, musicians sign in at 9am.
WHERE: Stage in front of Zale’s Jewelers
WHAT: Pajama Movie Night
DETAILS: Enjoy a fun night indoors at Sunset Mall’s Pajama Movie Night! We will be hosting a
viewing of the popular movie Elf. Bring your blankets and pillows for a picnic viewing or take a
seat in one of the provided chairs. Lucky’s Lemonade will be providing free popcorn during this
event, while supplies last. Lastly, don’t forget to come dressed in your best holiday pajamas!
Every participant will be entered to win a free photo package with Santa.
