City-wide Community Visioning Town Hall Meeting and Community Survey!
Del Rio, Texas – The City of Del Rio is announcing the community engagement plans for
Envision Del Rio, and the kick-off to the Envision Del Rio 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
The City of Del Rio is in the process of updating the Comprehensive Plan. The plan will help
the City maintain its character, enhance the quality of life for its residents and support economic
development. The Comprehensive Plan sets a vision for growth for the next 20 to 30 years.
This plan will help guide decisions related to: transportation, infrastructure, land use, parks and
open spaces, economic development, community identity, development standards and
incentives, implementation and next steps.

The City of Del Rio would like to hear from you! You are invited to
give your input about the needs and desires for Del Rio by taking the
community survey. This survey will inform the team on how to better
understand the City’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and
strengths and get to the residents’ and stakeholders’ vision for the Del

Join the Conversation About the Future of Del Rio! The City of Del Rio will be hosting a Citywide Community Visioning Town Hall Meeting on: Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 from 6:00
PM – 7:30 PM at the Del Rio Civic Center- Pecan Ballroom located at 1915 Veterans Blvd, Del
Rio, TX 78840 to present the project scope of work, what to expect, and how to participate in

The Community Visioning Session will initiate the public planning process on a City-wide level
to explain the process, its timeline, and to facilitate an examination of the City’s strengths,
weaknesses, and opportunities.
