Del Rio, Texas – The City of Del Rio have hosted the First Friday Art Walk for about 15 years now. On February 7th the Chamber of Commerce hopes to expand the event. For years the participants have been the Del Rio Council for the Arts at the Firehouse, Falcon Art Gallery, Lee Bunch Studios, and Casa de la Cultura. This year there will be more participants.
“We imagine a beautiful thriving night of culture and art on the first Friday of every month. We want our district to just come alive,” stated Megan Tackett, membership and outreach coordinator of the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce.

Caminata artística del primer viernes en Del Rio

Del Rio, Texas – La ciudad de Del Rio ha sido sede de la caminata artística del primer viernes desde hace aproximadamente 15 años. La Cámara de Comercio el 7 de febrero, espera expandir el evento. Durante años, los participantes han sido el Consejo de las Artes de Del Río Firehouse, Falcon Art Gallery, Lee Bunch Studios y Casa de la Cultura. Este año habrá más participantes.
“Nos imaginamos una hermosa noche floreciente de cultura y arte el primer viernes de cada mes. Queremos que nuestro distrito cobre vida”, declaró Megan Tackett, coordinadora de membresía y alcance de la Cámara de Comercio de Del Río.
