Kamryn Cummings nombrada Presidenta y Directora Ejecutiva de United Way of Abilene

SAN ANGELO, Texas — United Way of the Concho Valley se enorgullece en anunciar que Kamryn Cummings ha sido nombrada la próxima Presidenta y Directora Ejecutiva de United Way of Abilene. Cummings concluirá su servicio con United Way of the Concho Valley a finales de julio, a medida que realiza la transición hacia su nuevo rol de liderazgo.

Durante los últimos cinco años, Kamryn ha demostrado un profundo compromiso con el servicio a la comunidad a través de la colaboración, la innovación y una pasión por mejorar la vida de las personas en toda la región. Kamryn es graduada de la Angelo State University y de la Texas Tech University. También es graduada del programa *Leadership San Angelo* y del *Goodfellow Honorary Commander Program*. En reconocimiento a su liderazgo y servicio, fue nombrada una de las galardonadas en la lista "20 Under 40" (20 menores de 40 años) de la Cámara de Comercio de San Angelo y recibió el Premio al Servicio Ciudadano del Departamento de Policía de San Angelo. Kamryn también se desempeña como Presidenta del *Concho Valley Together COAD* (Organizaciones Comunitarias Activas en Desastres).

Kamryn Cummings Named President/CEO of United Way of Abilene

SAN ANGELO, Texas — United Way of the Concho Valley is proud to announce that Kamryn Cummings has been named the next President and Chief Executive Officer of United Way of Abilene. Cummings will conclude her service with United Way of the Concho Valley at the end of July as she transitions into her new leadership role.

Over the last five years, Kamryn has demonstrated a deep commitment to serving the community through collaboration, innovation, and a passion for improving lives across the region. Her leadership and dedication have made a lasting impact on both the organization and the people it serves. During her tenure, she has grown United Way’s community impact, helped shape the United We Read programs, and implemented Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in the Concho Valley. She played a critical leadership role in the community’s immediate response following the July 4th flood and continues to be instrumental in ongoing recovery efforts.

“Kamryn has been an incredible asset to United Way of the Concho Valley and to our entire community,” said Ashley Ammons, President/CEO of United Way of the Concho Valley. “Her passion for helping others, building meaningful partnerships, and advancing the mission of United Way has been evident in everything she does. While we will certainly miss her leadership and energy, we are excited to see her continue making a difference in Abilene.”

Kamryn is a graduate of Angelo State University and Texas Tech University. She is also a graduate of Leadership San Angelo and the Goodfellow Honorary Commander Program. In recognition of her leadership and service, she was named one of the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce’s 20 Under 40 honorees and received the Citizen Service Award from the San Angelo Police Department. Kamryn also serves at the Chairman of the Concho Valley Together COAD (Community Organizations Active in Disaster).
