San Angelo, Texas –Tom Green County Sheriff, Mr. Nick Hanna in an interview with Conexion San Angelo, said “Tom Green County Sheriff's Office has taken proactive steps to protect its two facilities to prevent Coronavirus infection.”
‘We brought a company to disinfect with a machine that puts a mist twice a day.” said Hanna “For five weeks we have kept the office closed from the public.”
Mr. Hanna said that when a person from the public visits the Sheriff office, they screen every individual and they take their temperature.
‘We follow all government guidelines,” he said.
He said that the jail is a unique situation because it houses in a reduced space those who had been arrested. Some of the arrests that can be made later have been reduced.
Hanna says that he misses having direct contact with people due to Coronavirus. He looks forward to the day that the city will once again become a community without reserve.”
The officer also said he identifies with the town of San Angelo. He chose to raise his family in this community. He believes that the period we are living now is giving us roots and that we will become stronger when we return to normal.
Mr. Nick Hanna retired from the Texas Rangers in 2019 and was hired as Chief Deputy of the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office in December. He brings a distinguished record in law enforcement to the office.

Dijo que la cárcel es una situación única porque alberga en un espacio reducido a los que han sido arrestados. Se han reducido algunas de las detenciones que se puedan hacerlas más tarde.
Hanna dijo que extraña mucho tener contacto directo con personas debido al Coronavirus. Dijo que espera con ansias el día que la ciudad vuelva a ser una comunidad sin reserva alguna.
