SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State men's basketball team earned its second straight win, beating the St. Mary's University Rattlers by 26 points, 89-63, Saturday night in the Stephens Arena at the Junell Center.

The Rams (7-2, 1-1 LSC) were led by Antonio Singleton, who matched his career high in scoring with 33 points, including a perfect 5-5 showing from behind the arc. The senior also had his best night on the glass, pulling down 10 rebounds for the first double-double of his Angelo State career.

Even with Singleton's dominant performance, the Rams started slowly in the first half as the Rattlers built an early 12-8 lead five minutes into the game.

The Rams hit the road in a week and a half to take on Rollins College and Le Moyne College in the Holiday Hoops Classic on December 18 and 19 in Las Vegas.
