DEL RIO, Texas – In an exclusive interview, Mss. Elsa Reyes, President of the International Good Neighbor Council (IGNC) spoke to Conexión about the upcoming Miss Del Rio Teen USA pageant. Winners will receive a scholarship to continue their education. Two new events have been added this year, Bull Riding and a performance by the Angelo State University Orchestra.
This year’s them is A Celebration of Friendship, Love and Unity Between Our Two Countries. “The parade usually has over 75 entries,” stated Reyes. The pageant takes place at the Paul Poag Theatre on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 7 PM. General admission tickets will be $15. Reserve seating available to contestants only at $20 each.
These events are part of the 59th annual Fiesta de la Amistad 2019. There will also be arts and crafts and food booths. This fiesta celebrates the friendship between Del Rio and Cuidad Acuna.

DEL RIO, Texas – En entrevista exclusiva, la presidenta del Consejo Internacional del Buen Vecino (IGNC) Elsa Reyes, habló con Conexión sobre el próximo concurso Miss Del Rio Teen USA. Los ganadores recibirán una beca para continuar su educación. Este año se han agregado dos nuevos eventos, monta de toros y una actuación de la Orquesta de la Universidad Estatal Angelo.
Este año es una celebración de amistad, amor y unidad entre nuestros dos países. "El desfile generalmente tiene más de 75 admisiones", dijo Reyes. El concurso se lleva a cabo el sábado 5 de octubre de 2019 a las 7 PM en el Teatro Paul Poag. Los boletos de admisión general serán de $ 15. Reservación disponible de asientos para los concursantes a solo $ 20 cada uno.
Estos eventos son parte de la 59va fiesta anual de la Amistad 2019. También habrá puestos de artesanías y comida. Esta fiesta celebra la amistad entre Del Río y Cuidad Acuña.
