What Does the Bible Say?

What God has done! Living the Christian Life is not easy. How could anyone do it? Where will we get the help we need? What does the Bible say?

Colossians 1:11-14 ^“May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

From this scripture we learn that God the Father and Son help us.

1.      God will strengthen us with all power. He can do this because he is God who has all power.

2.      He especially gives us the strength to endure our difficulties patiently and with joy.

3.      He qualifies us to receive our inheritance. As his children we have a place in His and our heavenly home.

4.      He rescued us from the kingdom or darkness and delivered us into his son’s kingdom.

5.      He has redeemed us, and forgiven us of our sins.

¿Qué dice la Biblia?

¡Lo que Dios ha hecho! Vivir la vida cristiana no es fácil. ¿Cómo podría alguien lograrlo? ¿Dónde encontraremos la ayuda que necesitamos? ¿Qué dice la Biblia?

Colosenses 1:11-14: “Que seáis fortalecidos con todo poder, conforme a la potencia de su gloria, para toda paciencia y perseverancia, con gozo, dando gracias al Padre que nos hizo aptos para participar de la herencia de los santos en luz. Él nos ha librado del poder de las tinieblas y nos ha trasladado al reino de su amado Hijo, en quien tenemos redención, el perdón de pecados.”

De esta escritura aprendemos que Dios Padre e Hijo nos ayudan.

1. Dios nos fortalecerá con todo poder. Él puede hacerlo porque es Dios, quien tiene todo el poder.

2. Él nos da especialmente la fuerza para soportar nuestras dificultades con paciencia y gozo.

3. Él nos capacita para recibir nuestra herencia. Como sus hijos, tenemos un lugar en su hogar celestial y en el nuestro. 4. Nos rescató del reino de las tinieblas y nos entregó al reino de su Hijo.

5. Nos redimió y nos perdonó nuestros pecados.
