What should be done when a person is caught doing wrong? Some ignore and some are quick to condemn. Who should take the lead in correcting a brother who is wrong?
What Does the Bible Say?
Galatians 6:1 says… “Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Look to yourself, lest you too be tempted.”
From this scripture, we learn:
1. A brother who is overtaken in trespasses (found sinning) needs to be restored.
2. The goal is restoration, not condemnation.
3. The one who should do the confronting must be a spiritual person.
4. Not everyone is qualified to be in the correcting business.
5. The spiritual person who does the confronting must be gentle.
6. The corrector can fall into sin as well.
7. Restoration is serious and should be approached carefully.

¿QUÉ DICE LA BIBLIA?

¿Qué se debe hacer cuando se descubre a una persona haciendo algo incorrecto? Algunos ignoran y otros se apresuran a condenar. ¿Quién debería tomar la iniciativa para corregir a un hermano que está equivocado?
¿Qué dice la biblia?
Gálatas 6: 1 dice… “Hermanos, si alguno es sorprendido en alguna ofensa, ustedes que son espirituales deben restaurarlo con espíritu de mansedumbre. Mírate a ti mismo, no sea que tú también seas tentado ".
De esta escritura, aprendemos:
1. Un hermano que es sorprendido en sus delitos (encontrado en pecado) necesita ser restaurado.
2. La meta es la restauración, no la condenación.
3. El que debe confrontar debe ser una persona espiritual.
4. No todo el mundo está calificado para estar en el negocio de la corrección.
5. La persona espiritual que confronta debe ser amable.
6. El corrector también puede caer en pecado.
7. La restauración es seria y debe abordarse con cuidado.
