When You Have Been Wronged-
What should you do when you are sinned against? Some would say ‘strike back’ while others would say ‘tell others’.
What Does the Bible Say?
Matthew 18:15-20 says… “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven, for where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
From this scripture, we learn:
1. When sinned against, we should confront the sinner in private. The less people involved, the easier to get to the truth and the easier to resolve the conflict.
2. If the sinner does not repent or make it right, you are to take a witness. This establishes that you are following Jesus’ instructions and it brings a little more pressure on the sinner to do right.
3. If this fails, you call on the whole church to help.
4. The goal is to rectify the wrong and maintain the unity of the brotherhood.
5. Jesus even says when we come together, He is there blessing the effort.
Many times, we reverse this procedure. We start by telling everyone and we fail to redeem the sinner and maintain unity of fellowship.

Cuando te han agraviado
¿Qué debes hacer cuando pecan contra ti? Algunos dirían "contraataca", mientras que otros dirían "dígaselo a los demás".
¿Qué dice la biblia?
Mateo 18: 15-20 dice… “Si tu hermano peca contra ti, ve y dile su falta, entre tú y él solos. Si te escucha, has ganado a tu hermano. Pero si no te escucha, lleva contigo a uno o dos más, para que cada palabra sea confirmada por el testimonio de dos o tres testigos. Si se niega a escucharlos, dígaselo a la iglesia; y si se niega a escuchar incluso a la iglesia, que sea para ti como un gentil y un recaudador de impuestos. De cierto os digo que todo lo que ates en la tierra quedará atado en el cielo y todo lo que desates en la tierra quedará desatado en el cielo. Nuevamente les digo que, si dos de ustedes en la tierra se ponen de acuerdo sobre cualquier cosa que pidan, mi Padre que está en los cielos lo hará por ellos, porque donde dos o tres están reunidos en mi nombre, allí estoy yo en medio de ellos. "
De esta escritura, aprendemos:
1. Cuando pecamos en contra, debemos confrontar al pecador en privado. Cuantas menos personas estén involucradas, más fácil será llegar a la verdad y más fácil resolver el conflicto.
2. Si el pecador no se arrepiente o no lo corrige, usted debe tomar testimonio. Esto establece que estás siguiendo las instrucciones de Jesús y ejerce un poco más de presión sobre el pecador para que haga lo correcto.
3. Si esto falla, pida ayuda a toda la iglesia.
4. El objetivo es rectificar el mal y mantener la unidad de la hermandad.
5. Jesús incluso dice que cuando nos reunimos, Él está bendiciendo el esfuerzo.
Muchas veces invertimos este procedimiento. Comenzamos por decírselo a todos y fallamos en redimir al pecador y mantener la unidad de comunión.
