San Angelo, Texas – Leroy Sennette was a 5-time convicted felon and was been to the penitentiary 7 times. With the help of God, he has been able to leave a life of drugs and alcohol and is now the Associate Minister at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.
Raised in a Christian home, when his mother and father were both involved in church, he gave his life to the lord at the age of 6.
Sennette’s first encounter with alcohol came at the early age of 9. He felt his nose start running, his ears were ringing, and he couldn’t breathe after that passed, he felt a warm feeling come over him and thought “I’m need to try that again.”
At the age of 19 Sennette got into some trouble and ended up with a 60-year prison term. He served 14 years 8 months and 6 days he was paroled for the first time. “I didn’t know that I was an addict,” commented Sennette. My addition had 14 years to grow. Within a year I was back at TDC. This was the life Sennette was leading until one day he decided to go to an alcoholics anonymous meeting in jail. “They told me there was a way out,” stated Sennette. In 2004 he was in prison for the 7th it was during this stay that he decided something had to change. “I am going to write the last chapter of this book,” stated Sennette. This chapter would be about his salvation and who he had turned my life over to.
Wanting to help people that were in situations like the life he was able to leave, Leroy worked at the Williams House, an intensive residential treatment program for adult males. He later obtained a counseling license through Howard College and continued to work at the Williams House as a counselor. Since then Sennette has moved on to new endeavors.

San Ángelo, Texas – Leroy Sennette en cinco ocasiones fue un delincuente convicto y estuvo 7 veces en la prisión. Con la ayuda de Dios, ha podido dejar una vida de drogas y alcohol y ahora es Ministro Asociado en la Iglesia Bautista Misionera Galilea.
Criado en un hogar cristiano, cuando su madre y su padre estaban involucrados en la iglesia, a la edad de 6 años entregó su vida al señor.
El primer encuentro de Sennette con el alcohol se produjo a la temprana edad de 9 años. El sintió que su nariz comenzaba a humedecerse, sus oídos estaban sonando, y no podía respirar después de que eso pasó, sintió una sensación cálida venir sobre él y pensó: "Tengo que intentarlo eso de nuevo."
Sennette a los 19 años, se metió en problemas y terminó con una pena de prisión de 60 años. Cumplió 14 años, 8 meses y 6 días, fue puesto en libertad condicional por primera vez. Sennette comentó, "No sabía que era un adicto". Mi adición tenía 14 años para crecer. Dentro de un año estaba de vuelta en TDC. Esta era la vida que llevaba Sennette en la cárcel hasta que un día decidió ir a una reunión anónima de alcohólicos. Sennette dijo, "Me dijeron que había una salida". En 2004 estuvo en prisión el día 7, fue durante esta estancia que decidió que algo tenía que cambiar. "Voy a escribir el último capítulo de este libro", dijo Sennette. Este capítulo sería sobre su salvación y a quién le había entregado mi vida.
Queriendo ayudar a las personas que se encontraban en situaciones como la vida que él pudo abandonar, Leroy trabajó en Williams House, un programa intensivo de tratamiento residencial para hombres adultos.
