San Angelo, TX – The Concho Valley Regional Food Bank (CVRFB) is thrilled to announce the selection of its new Executive Director, Brent Jenkins. Brent comes to CVRFB from Angelo Civic Theatre and has been a staple in the non-profit community of San Angelo for 20 years.
“I am humbled and excited to take on this new challenge. I am also thankful for all the support from CVRFB as we make this transition and start a new chapter in the Food Bank’s mission to fight hunger and feed hope,” said Brent Jenkins.
This week, CVRFB celebrated its 40th Anniversary with well wishes to its outgoing Executive Director, Lee Pipkin.
“CVRFB has a rich history of being a community partner and I know it will continue to do whatever it can to serve our neighbors. I’m honored to pass the baton on to Brent who will continue the critical work of making sure no one goes to bed hungry. I’m so grateful for our community’s support of addressing food insecurity and I’m hopeful that we will all rise to welcome this new phase in the Food Bank’s journey,” commented Lee Pipkin.
Mr. Jenkins’ term at the Food Bank starts Monday, October 16, 2023.

BANCO REGIONAL DE ALIMENTOS DEL VALLE DEL CONCHO ANUNCIA NUEVO DIRECTOR EJECUTIVO.

San Angelo, TX – El Banco Regional de Alimentos de Concho Valley (CVRFB) se complace en anunciar la selección de su nuevo Director Ejecutivo, Brent Jenkins. Brent llega a CVRFB procedente del Angelo Civic Theatre y ha sido un elemento básico en la comunidad sin fines de lucro de San Angelo durante 20 años.
“Me siento honrado y emocionado de asumir este nuevo desafío. También estoy agradecido por todo el apoyo del CVRFB mientras hacemos esta transición y comenzamos un nuevo capítulo en la misión del Banco de Alimentos de combatir el hambre y alimentar la esperanza”, dijo Brent Jenkins.
Esta semana, CVRFB celebró su 40 aniversario con buenos deseos para su director ejecutivo saliente, Lee Pipkin.
“CVRFB tiene una rica historia como socio comunitario y sé que seguirá haciendo todo lo posible para servir a nuestros vecinos. Es un honor para mí pasar el testigo a Brent, quien continuará con el trabajo fundamental de garantizar que nadie se vaya a la cama con hambre. Estoy muy agradecido por el apoyo de nuestra comunidad para abordar la inseguridad alimentaria y tengo la esperanza de que todos estemos a la altura para dar la bienvenida a esta nueva fase en el viaje del Banco de Alimentos”, comentó Lee Pipkin.
El mandato del Sr. Jenkins en el Banco de Alimentos comienza el lunes 16 de octubre de 2023.
El Banco Regional de Alimentos del Valle del Concho tiene la misión de alimentar la esperanza de acabar con el hambre en el Valle del Concho conectando a nuestros vecinos que sufren hambre con los alimentos.
