Elks Veterans Stand Down to be Held at the Concho Valley Transit Depot Annex on November 14th 2025

San Angelo, Texas— Veterans Stand Down is scheduled for November 14th, 2025. The San Angelo Elks Lodge # 1880 is partnering with Military Veteran Peer Network, and the West Texas VA Health care System to hold the event from 0900 to 1400 at the Concho Valley Transit Depot Annex, located at 510 N. Chadbourne St.

The event is being funded in part from an Elks National Foundation Spotlight Grant.

The Stand Down will be for Veterans in San Angelo and surrounding areas who are experiencing need for housing services and other local resource information. Cold weather items will be accessible to our Veteran population.

There will be Food, VA Services, and Resources for Veterans. If there are veterans who do not have copies of their DD-214, or do not have a VA ID card, please have come to this event so we can assist them in acquiring the needed documents.

If you served in the United States Armed Forces, come find out what the VA, and other community resources are available to you and your family. There will be 18 different organizations to help you.

If you know of a veteran that does not have permanent housing, please let them know about this event.

San Angelo, Texas — El Evento de Apoyo a Veteranos está programado para el 14 de noviembre de 2025. La Logia Elks de San Angelo n.° 1880, en colaboración con Military Veteran Peer Network y el Sistema de Atención Médica para Veteranos del Oeste de Texas, llevará a cabo el evento de 9:00 a 14:00 en el Anexo de la Estación de Tránsito de Concho Valley, ubicado en 510 N. Chadbourne St.

El evento está financiado en parte por una subvención Spotlight de la Fundación Nacional Elks.

El evento está dirigido a veteranos de San Angelo y alrededores que necesitan servicios de vivienda e información sobre otros recursos locales. Se ofrecerán artículos de abrigo para los veteranos.

Habrá comida, servicios de la Administración de Veteranos y otros recursos para veteranos. Si hay veteranos que no tienen copias de su DD-214 o no tienen una tarjeta de identificación del Departamento de Asuntos de Veteranos (VA), por favor asistan a este evento para que podamos ayudarlos a obtener los documentos necesarios.
