Money Concepts Financial Planning Center in Del Rio, Texas is a licensed Registered Representative with Money Concepts Capital Corp. Gilbert Mercado, president of the planning center is an independent financial advisor that has been in financial and wealth management business for several years. On Thursday, June 27th they celebrated a new location that will help them better serve their clients in combination with their 15-year anniversary which came to pass in November of 2018.
“We help with everything that could affect a person financially without lending them money. The bank lends clients the money, but we help prepare all the documentation needed,” stated Mercado. Their services include bookkeeping, income tax preparation and planning, tax resolution and representation, wealth management and advisory services, financial planning, retirement planning, life, and health insurance and much more.
His wife Irmarie Mercado is also in the money business. Irmarie has over years of experience in the preparation of business and personal income tax returns. She is also able to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. “I help clients with their financial plans, and she assists clients in resolving any issues they may have,” stated Mercado.
“From the moment our business opened the community has supported us and we appreciate it. My wife and family have also been supportive,” stated Mercado.
Mercado has been involved in various organizations within the city and county such as the Del Rio Rotary Club, the Val Verde Child Welfare Board, the Del Rio Host Lions Club, the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce, the Del Rio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce. “This has been a great community for us,” concluded Mercado.
