More than 100 pieces of realistic and representational artwork depicting the American Great Plains region will be on display at Fort Concho from June 23 through Aug. 7 as part of the 37th annual Juried Exhibit & Sale. The public is invited to attend the kickoff “Art of the Plains” celebration, with an opening reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 23 in the Quartermaster Building at the fort.
Expect to see representations of Great Plains landscape, wildlife, people and way of life in historical or modern times.
Artworks in the show will be rendered by nationally recognized, award-winning artists and juried for awards by juror Phil Bob Borman.

Más de 100 obras de arte realistas y representativas que representan la región de las Grandes Llanuras de Estados Unidos estarán en exhibición en Fort Concho del 23 de junio al 7 de agosto como parte de la 37.ª exhibición y venta anual con jurado. Se invita al público a asistir a la celebración inaugural “Arte de los Llanos”, con una recepción de apertura a partir de las 5:30 p.m. a las 7 p. m. 23 de junio en el edificio de intendencia en el fuerte.
Espere ver representaciones del paisaje, la vida silvestre, la gente y la forma de vida de las Grandes Llanuras en tiempos históricos o modernos.
