La San Angelo Health Foundation anuncia los beneficiarios de subvenciones del tercer trimestre

Carlos Rodríguez, presidente del comité de subvenciones, anuncia los beneficiarios de las subvenciones del tercer trimestre, por un total de $1,611,169, otorgadas a nueve organizaciones para apoyar iniciativas de salud, seguridad pública y juventud en toda la región.

Beneficiarios de las subvenciones del tercer trimestre:

 Joshua 1:2 recibió $66,950 para comprar camionetas de pasajeros para su programa.

 Junction Community After School Program & Family Center recibió $29,000 para añadir un aula al aire libre.

 Lake Ivie Volunteer Fire Department recibió $11,658 para el proyecto "Safe Haven".

 Looping Us Together recibió $23,975 para instalar murales independientes a lo largo de MLK Drive.

 Lowake Community Center recibió $36,300 para reemplazar el piso del centro.

 San Angelo Area Foundation recibió $1,000,000 para el proyecto "Concho River Legacy Trail".

 Tom Green County Library recibió $243,286 para ampliar el alcance y actualizar el equipo en el espacio de creación (makerspace) STEAM Central.

 West Texas Rehabilitation Center recibió $150,000 para comprar vehículos de reemplazo para Hospice of San Angelo.

 YMCA San Angelo recibió $50,000 destinados a una instalación de usos múltiples en el Little Explorer’s Preschool & Child Development Center.

Steve Cecil, presidente de la junta directiva, declaró que, con estas subvenciones, la Fundación ha otorgado más de $74.5 millones a 258 organizaciones para 1,029 proyectos valiosos.

Carlos Rodriguez, Grants Chair, announces third quarter grant recipients totaling $1,611,169 to nine organizations to support health, public safety, and youth initiatives across the region.

Third quarter grant recipients:

ü  Joshua 1:2 was awarded $66,950 to purchase passenger vans for their program

ü  Junction Community After School Program & Family Center was awarded $29,000 to add an outdoor classroom

ü  Lake Ivie Volunteer Fire Department was awarded $11,658 for the Safe Haven project

ü  Looping Us Together was awarded $23,975 to install freestanding murals along MLK Drive

ü  Lowake Community Center was awarded $36,300 to replace the flooring at the center

ü  San Angelo Area Foundation was awarded $1,000,000 for the Concho River Legacy Trail project

ü  Tom Green County Library was awarded $243,286 to expand outreach and update equipment in the STEAM Central Makerspace

ü  West Texas Rehabilitation Center was awarded $150,000 to purchase replacement vehicles for Hospice of San Angelo

ü  YMCA San Angelo was awarded $50,000 toward a multipurpose facility at the Little Explorer’s Preschool & Child Development Center
