LePak introduces team at ribbon cutting

SAN ANGELO– Before Michael LePak’s ribbon cutting ceremony to re-open his Citizen Center located at 1623 S. Chadbourne took place, he welcomed guests, and also introduced his team.

Those members included: pastor, Guillermo Caesar Cano and his wife, Erica, and Mr. Tom Bankston, treasurer. Cano is the pastor of House of Power, a non-profit home that houses men, women, and their families off the streets, changing lives with the Power of Jesus Christ.

In LePak’s brief remarks he talked about his new special projects geared toward addressing the homeless situation. LePak wants to start a Christian-based “Man Camp.” The place for the future camp he has in mind is in the barrio side of town. “We can and should take of the homeless.”

Among the guests invited were: Mr. and Mrs. Walt Koenig. Koenig is president of the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, Julie Efferson, one of the Chambers’ board directors, along with Chamber Chief Executive Officer, Heather Kumpe, the Concho Cadre, Mr. Raymond Hooker, a businessman, and Bella Mora with Leadership Program at Angelo State University.

The 3:30 p.m. ribbon ceremony was held on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
