Miles de menores de edad se acercan a los Estados Unidos por la frontera sur. Quienes empujan a esta niñez a venir son sus padres o tutores. Quienes impulsan a los padres y tutores es el mercado del cruce ilegal fronterizo. Quienes impulsan el mercado ilegal son los sistemas de gobierno que hay en los países involucrados en la migración. Quienes impulsan a estos gobernantes a no crear políticas eficientes, es la corrupción y el apetito avaro de ganancias que les fascina.
El Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD), fue creado para ayudar a los países a elaborar y compartir soluciones que permitan responder a los retos que plantean: gobernabilidad democrática, reducción de la pobreza, prevención y recuperación de las crisis, energía y medio ambiente, tecnología de la información y las comunicaciones y reducir la enfermedad, el analfabetismo y la discriminación contra la mujer y la niñez.
Por muchos años, los gobernantes de los Estados Unidos, ha venido descuidando las relaciones con los países centroamericanos y del sur y han sido negligentes en la implementación de las metas de PNUD. Ningún gobierno trabaja para revisar el sistema de comercio internacional con miras a la eficiencia. Mientras tanto, todos se fijan en los efectos de la niñez cruzan la frontera, pero nadie quiere ver las causas económicas, que son mejores salarios, democracia, paz, acceso a la tierra y condiciones favorables de vida en general.

Children cross the border for economic reasons

Thousands of minors approach the United States through the southern border. Those who push these children to come are their parents or guardians which are encouraged by the illegal border crossing market. Those who drive the illegal market are the government systems in the countries involved in migration. Those who drive these rulers not to create efficient policies, is corruption and the greedy appetite for profit that fascinates them.
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) was created to help countries develop and share solutions that allow them to respond to the challenges they pose: democratic governance, poverty reduction, prevention and recovery from crises, energy and environment, information and communication technology and reduce disease, illiteracy and discrimination against women and children.
For many years, the rulers of the United States have been neglecting relations with the Central American and southern countries and have been negligent in the implementation of the goals of UNDP. No government works to review the international trading system for efficiency. Meanwhile, everyone is looking at the effects of childhood crossing the border, but no one wants to see the economic causes, which are better wages, democracy, peace, access to land and favorable living conditions in general.
