At just 14 years old, Jacob Soto discovered the spark that would shape his future. It began with a simple gift — his first guitar, bought by his brother, who also taught him how to play. What started as a family moment quickly grew into a calling, one that now blends country music, faith, and a deep desire to inspire others.

Jacob remembers the night he saw Parker McCollum perform at the Riverstage in San Angelo. “Parker McCollum is my favorite country singer,” Jacob says. “Seeing him on that stage inspired me to begin singing, and I hope one day I can sing on the stage with him.”

For Jacob, music isn’t just a talent — it’s a calling. “I feel that my calling is not just music, but to be able to speak about God and bring people closer to Him with my music, and that God Guides in the right path” he shares.

The youngest of three siblings, Jacob grew up surrounded by strong family values. His parents, Luis and Veronica Soto, instilled in him the importance of humility, dedication, and service. The Soto family owns JDM Diesel, a local business where Jacob works alongside his father. That hands‑on experience has grounded him, reminding him that success comes from effort, consistency, and heart.

Jacob is currently a member of Jacob Soto & The Steel Reign Band, a San Angelo‑based band known for its country rock, red dirt country, and original music. The group performs at local events across the Concho Valley, bringing a fresh, authentic sound to West Texas stages. Jacob also performs solo, showcasing his versatility and heartfelt storytelling.

On July 20th, Jacob released his latest single, “Shooting Star,” a track that reflects his journey, ambition, and the dreams he continues to chase. His music — both solo and with Steel Reign — is available on Spotify under “Jacob Soto & The Steel Reign Band.”

Artista emergente destacado: Jacob Soto — Fe, familia y música country
