San Angelo, Texas – Jon mark Hogg officially announced that he would run for Texas’ 11th Congressional District on September 17, 2019. Hogg has been in San Angelo for 27 years. He is a former City Councilman. Hogg practiced law for 27 years, mediating and solving problems for municipalities, counties, and businesses all over District 11.
Conexión interviewed to Mr. John Mark Hogg who spoke his plans with the Hispanic community in the upcoming election. “The Hispanic community is the future of Texas. They need to realize the strength they have. We will be actively trying to reach out to the Hispanic voters and talk to them about the issues they are interested in,” commented Hogg.
Hogg feels that the most important issue is that congress doesn’t work. They are not able to address the important issues of the country. This has left the president with no alternative but to enact the policies that he wants. “Immigration policy should be set by congress. We need to fix some problems with how congress operates. If we don’t do that first we are not going to solve immigration or any other issues important to the Hispanics,” concluded Hogg.
Hogg will be reaching District 11 by driving to every county and getting to know the people. He stated this is going to be a very one on one campaign.

Conexión entrevistó al señor John Mark Hogg quien habló sobre sus planes con la comunidad hispana en las próximas elecciones. “La comunidad hispana es el futuro de Texas. Necesitan darse cuenta de la fuerza que tienen. Intentaremos comunicarnos activamente con los votantes hispanos y hablarles sobre los temas que les interesan”, comentó Hogg.
Hogg siente que el tema más importante es que el congreso no funciona. No pueden abordar los problemas importantes del país. Esto ha dejado al presidente sin otra alternativa que promulgar las políticas que quiere. “La política de inmigración debe ser establecida por el congreso. Necesitamos solucionar algunos problemas con el funcionamiento del congreso. Si no hacemos eso primero, no vamos a resolver la inmigración o cualquier otro problema importante para los hispanos", concluyó Hogg.
Hogg llegará al Distrito 11 conduciendo a cada condado y conociendo a la gente. Dijo que esta será una campaña muy personal.
