Vivid Pop Events owner, Tammy Mervin’s business turns customers' dreams for their special occasions into a reality that is both affordable and celebratory.
SAN ANGELO – Special events such as weddings, Halloween, Gender Reveal baby showers, birthdays, etc. decorated with beautiful balloon garlands are made with a two-fold purpose: affordable and celebratory in the mind by Vivid Pop EVENTS’ owner, Tammy Mervin.
“Balloons are expensive. But when someone hires me—I want them to see what I’ve created and think “This was worth it.” “We hope to create something beautiful for every budget.”
Although Mervin’s business was only established this past September 2020, she has already hit 1000 “likes” on her Facebook page in just three weeks.
Conexión San Angelo interviewed Mervin on how her business came into existence.
“I was looking for something unique to add to my events/parties but never quite find the resources available to make my vision a reality.” It was during the quarantine that Tammy spent time learning as much as possible about the balloon business, particularly “how to take basic designs and turn them in to something magical with POP for fun.”
While Mervin’s business on her Facebook page has exploded quickly with those” like” hits, her goal is to take those numbers and turn them into clients; and a brick-and-mortar building. “We are at a place where we are growing quickly but not quite ready to hire our first, official employee. Judging from the strong community support and “likes,” Mervin hopes to have an employee, early 2021.
The projected date for her business to launch is in late December. As for its’ location, 221 N. Main St. Mervin’s vision is for Vivid to be a one-stop party shop for its customers, thus turn their dream event into a reality.
